Curricular

The curriculum incorporates all the subjects required to Common Entrance and Scholarship level. These are English, Mathmatics, Science, Latin, French, History, Geography and Religious Studies.

It is assumed that the aim of parents is that their sons be prepared for the 13+ exams. All boys are taught the following subjects by specialist teachers:

Considerable investments in ICT has allowed St Philip’s to become a Microsoft school. Microsoft’s education and business software has been utilised to develop the StPhilip’s@Home blended learning platform. The School is committed to blending proven teaching and learning techniques with a practical and sensible deployment of technology.

Recent trips have included camping expeditions to the Surrey Hills and Devon in addition to visits to Fishbourne Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the Globe Theatre, the V&A, the Science museum, Ham House, the Tower of London, Southwark Cathedral and other sites of educational interest.
